Barakah Physical Security System

ABLEM has contributed to the security and infrastructure of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant through their involvement in a critical project focused on enhancing the facility’s surveillance and safety. This project entailed the design, manufacturing, civil works, and erection of several Ballistic Reinforced Enclosers (BRE’s), each planned and constructed to meet the specific needs of this high-security environment. Given the sensitive nature of the nuclear power plant, the towers were designed with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring they not only align with the stringent environmental requirements but also stand as robust, standalone structures capable of withstanding the most critical situations.

The design process involved careful consideration of the unique challenges posed by the nuclear facility. ABLEM’s expertise in design and manufacturing was crucial in creating these fortified structures, which were built to provide maximum security and surveillance capabilities. The civil works aspect of the project included preparing the sites for tower installation, ensuring stable and secure foundations to support the significant weight and specifications of the armoured towers. The final phase, the erection of these towers, was carried out with precision and efficiency, ensuring that each structure was perfectly positioned and fully operational. This project highlights ABLEM’s ability to handle complex, high-stakes projects, delivering solutions that are not only technically sound but also crucial for the safety and security of vital infrastructure.
